Uses cryptographically secure randomness — every order is equally likely, so it's fair for the whole league.

What Is the Fantasy Draft Order Generator?

The Fantasy Draft Order Generator sets a fair, random draft order for your fantasy league — football, baseball, basketball, hockey or anything else. Enter your teams or managers (or pick a common league size), and it shuffles them with cryptographically secure randomness so every order is exactly as likely as any other. Turn on the snake-draft board to see the full serpentine order round by round (the order flips each round so the last pick in round one gets the first pick in round two), set your number of rounds, and use the dramatic one-pick-at-a-time reveal to run a live draft-lottery moment on league night. Copy or print the results to share. Everything runs in your browser — no sign-up, no ads in the way, provably fair.

How It Works

Type your team or manager names (one per line) or hit a quick-set league size, choose whether to show a snake-draft board and how many rounds, then Generate. Use the reveal button to unveil picks one at a time, and Copy or Print to share the final order.

When to Use It

Use it on fantasy draft day to decide who picks first, to settle the order fairly without arguments, to run a suspenseful live reveal in your group chat or on a call, or to print a snake-draft board for the whole league.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the order truly random and fair?
Yes — it uses the browser's cryptographically secure random generator with an unbiased Fisher–Yates shuffle, so every possible order is equally likely. No team has an edge.
What is a snake draft?
In a snake (serpentine) draft the pick order reverses each round: if you pick 10th in round one you pick 1st in round two, then 10th again in round three, and so on. It balances out the advantage of an early first-round pick. Toggle the snake board to see it laid out.
Can I do a live reveal?
Turn on 'Dramatic reveal' and the picks stay hidden until you click to reveal them one at a time — perfect for building suspense on draft night.
