Stopwatch
A precise online stopwatch with lap times, fastest/slowest highlighting, full-screen mode and a pop-out window that scales to any size.
What Is the Stopwatch?
A precise Stopwatch that counts up in minutes, seconds and hundredths using a high-resolution clock, so timing stays accurate even over long runs. Record lap (split) times with one click — each lap shows both its own split and the running total, and the fastest and slowest laps are highlighted automatically. Start, stop, resume and reset freely. The display fills the screen in Fullscreen mode or pops out into a separate, resizable window whose numbers scale to fill it, so it works on a second monitor, a room display, or as an OBS window capture.
How It Works
Press Start to begin and Stop to pause; Resume continues from where you left off. Click Lap to record a split while running. Reset clears everything. Use Fullscreen for the current screen, or Pop Out for a resizable, auto-scaling window that stays in sync with this tab.
When to Use It
Use it for workouts and intervals, lap timing on a track or in the pool, timing speeches and speech runs, science experiments, cooking, productivity sprints, or any moment you need an accurate count-up with splits.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How accurate is it?
- It uses the browser's high-resolution performance clock and displays hundredths of a second. It's suitable for everyday timing; it isn't a certified sports timing device, but drift is negligible for normal use.
- What do the lap highlights mean?
- Each lap's split (the time since the previous lap) is compared across all laps: the fastest split is marked in green with an up arrow and the slowest in red with a down arrow, so you can spot your best and worst intervals at a glance.
- Can I show it on a second screen?
- Yes — Pop Out opens a resizable window whose digits scale to fill it, and Fullscreen fills the current screen. Both are great for a second monitor or capturing in OBS.
